MCA Contacts

When adding an MCA contact for example: 'LPA'. CMS requires you to set up a new contact. We have had a number of requests form users wanting to just add N/A as the contact. A new button has been added to the toolbar that will automatically and a N/A contact to the selected record. There are checks so that users can't add N/A to an already selected contact, to change an existing contact to N/A first remove the link of the contact, then use the toolbar button.

Reposition Charts

Additional options have been added to the repositioning charts. These allow you to set up 'Equipment' used when performing repositions of residents and select them as being used as part of the reposition. CMS will default to hoist, cushions & sheet slider but homes have the ability to add equipment to match their needs.

The other option that has been added is a Resident tilted option.

This input method has also been added to Daily care & Body map treatment notes.

Linked Records

Some Managers had reported that Records that have been linked to other records were not always kept up to date. Changes have been made to try and ensure staff don't miss these records. A number of small changes have been made to enhance how useful these linked records are.

Firstly, the linked items tab will show 'Overdue' if any of the linked items are out of date. When viewing linked records, you will see the review date of all linked records with over due records having their date displayed in  red text.

Secondly, when saving a record that has overdue linked records, CMS will open them to the screen giving users the option to also update these records, keeping them accurate and in date.

CMS

Messages

When loading CMS, a user with lots of unread messages can take a long time to load, this is because we are loading all the messages into the grid. A setting has been added that will allow you to set 'Return messages in the last X days.' This will default to 30 days but can be changed. We have also added a From > To date range when looking at messages to expand the scope of the messages. This should allow CMS to load optimally whilst still showing users all their relevant unread messages.

The Setting can be found by going to: Tools > Settings > Module Settings > Shift Handover.
